The Fenway Alliance--a consortium of 21 nationally and internationally renowned cultural and academic institutions--has been working in the community since 1977, along with local business partners and government agencies, to create a safe, welcoming, and culturally and academically engaging community for residents, students, and visitors to our area. Our main goals work to serve the greater community by (1) developing cultural programming and greater access to Boston’s arts and cultural community, through festivals, presentations, & other programming; (2) by working to enhance street safety, streetscapes and parklands; and by (3) establishing the Fenway Cultural District initiative, by which the Fenway Alliance works to create Cultural District zoning, branding, beautification and signage for the Fenway neighborhood.
